The Thadou Students�?? Association, General Headquarters (TSA-GHQ) would like to express its deep displeasure over the sudden suspension of the proposed Manipur Civil Service Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination (MCSCCE), 2019 scheduled to be held on May 12 (Sunday) as the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) allegedly failed to follow the Court's earlier directive to maintain proper rules and regulations for conducting examinations and non-appointment of the Controller of Examination in the commission.
As per the Hon�??ble High Court order dated the 10th May, 2019, it is evident that the deferment happened due to sheer negligence by MPSC to comply with the order of the Hon�??ble High Court dated February 28, 2017.
The main reason behind the repeated error is believed to be lack of officials and accurate rules and regulations of the examination in the commission.
Moreover, many Manipur native MCSCCE aspirants from different parts of the country had come to appear for the said exam. It is painful to note that the financial expenses and valuable time incurred in their travel have been in vain.
While expressing our disappointment, TSA would like to urge the MPSC to take immediate corrective measures with full transparency in maintaining the prestige of the commission.
